Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Direct bookings

This policy applies to accommodation booked directly through Seaboard Stays or the Seaboard Stays website.

The cancellation date is the date on which Seaboard Stays receives the guest's cancellation request.

2. How to cancel

To request cancellation of a direct booking, email will@seaboardstays.com and include the booking reference, guest name and property name.

We will confirm the cancellation and applicable refund in writing.

3. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible. The time taken for the funds to appear may depend on the payment processor, card network and the guest's bank.

The refund calculation is based on the total booking value in accordance with the cancellation rule above.

4. If Seaboard Stays cannot provide the confirmed accommodation

If Seaboard Stays is unable to provide a confirmed stay because the booked property becomes unavailable for reasons outside the guest's control, Seaboard Stays may offer a suitable alternative. If a suitable alternative is not accepted or available, amounts paid for the affected booking will be refunded.

5. Third-party platform bookings

If a reservation was made through Airbnb, Booking.com or another third-party booking platform, cancellation and refund requests must generally be handled through that platform and the cancellation terms attached to that reservation will apply.
